FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTiONS
Vision insurance primarily covers routine eye exams and corrective eyewear, including contact lenses and glasses. Alternatively, medical insurance covers medical conditions and treatments related to dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, infections, diabetes, macular degeneration, and other eye health issues.
Your frequency will depend on your medical history, vision, and age. However, we recommend most adults have their eyes checked every one to two years, unless they have vision problems or are at risk for eye disease. Kids, on the other hand, should have their eyes checked yearly.
Please bring your insurance information, a list of medications you're taking, your current glasses or contact lenses, and any questions or concerns you have about your eyes.
